F100 Technical Fault on Meile W3824WPS Washing machine
I’ve got a Miele W3824WPS washing machine, and I accidentally forgot to close the drain door at the bottom of the washing machine when doing a regular clean. This triggered an error “Technical F100″ Fault nothing seemed to clear the error and I couldn’t find anything on the Internet about it. After a little but of fiddling about….
It seemed that the error was caused because the “sump” or overspill tray inside the washing machine being full, once I had emptied it ,the machine cleared the error.
To empty the sump tray I simply tilted the machine (if looking at it from the front) to the left about 30 degrees, and placed some towels on the floor to mop up and water that flowed out.
No doubt this is not the correct way to fix the machine, but I couldn’t wait for an engineer to come out and fix the problem..
